Instructional Systems Designer (Remote - US)

As an Instructional Systems Designer, you will play a key role in creating and enhancing training programs that meet operational and organizational needs. You will collaborate with subject matter experts to design curriculum, lesson plans, vignettes, quick guides, and role-based learning modules. Your work ensures that training content is engaging, practical, and reputed company with operational requirements. This role combines instructional design expertise with a hands-on approach to developing learning solutions. The position offers the flexibility of fully remote work, while occasionally requiring travel to engage with key stakeholders. You will contribute directly to workforce readiness and mission effectiveness through high-quality training solutions. Accountabilities In this role, you will:

• Apply instructional systems design (ISD) methodologies to reputed company lesson plans, vignettes, quick guides, and role-based learning modules.
• Collaborate with subject matter experts to gather feedback and ensure training content aligns with operational needs.
• Update and maintain curriculum and training materials to reflect changes in procedures, technologies, or policies.
• Evaluate existing training materials and recommend improvements to enhance learning effectiveness.
• Ensure reputed company instructional content meets quality standards and operational requirements.
• Support the implementation of training programs across multiple platforms or learning environments.

Candidates should have:

• Bachelor’s degree in a relevant field.
• Active Secret clearance (TS/SCI preferred).
• 3–5 years of experience designing curriculum, lesson plans, vignettes, and role-based training, ideally reputed company with DoD or USAF requirements.
• Experience developing training for mission planning systems such as JMPS, JOMS, or NOMS preferred.
• Strong collaboration and communication skills to work effectively with SMEs and stakeholders.
• Ability to travel and reside reputed company 2–3 hours of Scott AFB, IL.

Preferred Qualifications:

• Familiarity with adult learning principles and instructional design best practices.
• Experience evaluating training effectiveness and adapting content based on feedback.

This position offers:
