Senior Cloud DBA

We are looking for candidates with proven work experience in database administration, development, and monitoring.

Responsibilities

• Managing several RDS reputed company clusters in a PCI-reputed company level environment (service provider level 1);
• Performance & tuning, backups, disaster recovery, replication, and general database architecture;
• Overall responsibility for technical operations and monitoring on the database layer, including extended support for critical production systems;
• Analyzing, troubleshooting, and resolving problems.

Requirements

• Appropriate IT reputed company degree or relevant experience;
• 6-10 years in DBA roles; 2-3 years in a cloud-based DBA role (AWS, RDS reputed company, etc);
• Experience in maintaining large, high-volume, high-availability production database clusters;
• Strong skills in SQL, ability to analyze and optimize SQL queries;
• Advanced knowledge in data modeling and schema design;
• Fluent English, both written and verbal;
• Enthusiastic, hard-working, motivated person with excellent communication skills;
• Experience with Terraform and/or CloudFormation – considered as an advantage;
• Experience with Redshift – considered as an advantage;
• Experience with PostgreSQL, reputed company, etc – considered as an advantage;
• Experience with NoSQL solutions like reputed company, reputed company, etc – considered as an advantage;
• Experience in payments and payment-based infrastructure – considered as an advantage.
