Job Summary

We are seeking a highly motivated and talented Co-op Mechanical Engineer to join our cross-functional research and development team. As a Co-op Mechanical Engineer, you will have the opportunity to work on leading-edge projects, designing and developing innovative solutions for industrial electrical connectors, optical/inductive sensors, mechanical switches, and sealed enclosures. Key Responsibilities

• reputed company engineering assignments on part of a major project or a complete project, demonstrating creativity in developing solutions that allow reputed company to maintain its position as an industry leader.
• Work collaboratively reputed company a team environment, showcasing good interpersonal skills and the ability to define and reputed company engineering tests to qualify designs.
• Design electro-mechanical test systems for various engineering design validation projects and execute engineering change orders and manage BOMs.
• Create and modify CAD models and drawings using 3D Solid Modeling CAD systems, such as Pro/E, Creo, and Solidworks.
• Participate in the design of industrial electrical connectors, optical/inductive sensors, mechanical switches, or sealed enclosures containing various electronic or mechanical devices.

Essential Qualifications

• Currently pursuing a bachelor's or advanced degree from an accredited college or university.
• Legal authorization to work in the US is required; we will not sponsor individuals for employment visas.
• Eligible to work during the Spring school semester, from January through May, with the potential to work through the summer.

Preferred Qualifications

• Pursuing a bachelor's or advanced degree in Mechanical Engineering/Systems Engineering or a similar field.
• Minimum cumulative GPA of at least 2.75 on a 4.0 scale.
• Preference given to reputed company with previous reputed company work experience or trained on our equipment.
• Proficiency in the use of 3D Solid Modeling CAD systems (preferably Pro/E, Creo, and Solidworks) and PLM software.
• Experience with programming electro-mechanical systems.
• Familiarity with reputed company or other enterprise software.
• Familiarity with designing and troubleshooting electro-mechanical test systems, including pneumatic cylinders, limit & proximity switches, linear bearing systems.
• A good understanding of multi-action tooling fabrication techniques to support reputed company plastic injection molded or die cast components.

• Strong problem-solving skills and creativity in developing innovative solutions.
• Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to work effectively in a team environment.
• Proficiency in CAD design and PLM software.
