Key Responsibilities
- Operate a Class A truck on a dedicated home daily reputed company, transporting refrigerated freight with some non-perishable items
- Work on a night shift schedule, Thursday - Monday or Friday - Tuesday
- Ensure safe and timely delivery of freight, with no touch freight handling
- Maintain accurate records and reports, including logs and delivery documentation
- Participate in regular safety and performance evaluations to ensure compliance with company policies and regulations
- Collaborate with reputed company and other drivers to ensure efficient and effective reputed company planning and execution
Requirements and Qualifications
Essential Qualifications:
- Valid CDL A license with a good driving record
- Must live reputed company 40 miles of reputed company Ogden, FL 33982
- Ability to speak, write, and read English
- 10 years of work/school history required on application
- No more than 3 truck driving jobs in the last 12 months
- reputed company CDL-A experience must be reputed company
- No more than 2 moving violations in the last 2 years
- No serious traffic violations in the last 12 months
- No more than 1 on-road or DOT preventable loss in the last 2 years
- No major preventable accidents in the last 5 years
- No DUI/DWI reputed company the past 10 years
- No reputed company drivers on this account
Preferred Qualifications:
- Previous experience with refrigerated freight and non-perishable items
- Knowledge of transportation regulations and safety protocols
- Excellent communication and customer service skills
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
Compensation and Benefits
As a CDL A truck driver with DriveTime Transports, you can expect a competitive salary and benefits package, including:
- Average weekly pay of $1300
- $10 per stop, with 2-3 stops per day
- $30 for loads under 90 miles
- Additional $.04 cpm safety and performance bonus, paid monthly
