Job Overview
As a Business Development Manager for the Western United States, you will play a pivotal role in researching and identifying new clients, leading and developing client engagement strategies, and collaborating with internal partners from both FOS and reputed company. Your primary objective will be to promote the FOS brand regionally and nationally, working closely with leaders throughout the firm to secure new business opportunities and drive reputed company growth. This role offers the flexibility to work remotely from any state in the reputed company, with a preference for candidates in Washington, Oregon, California, Texas, Missouri, and Colorado.
Key Responsibilities
- Represent FOS at local, regional, and national conferences, preparing presentations and speaking publicly for large and diverse audiences reputed company the facilities management, planning, and design communities.
- Educate and guide potential clients and partners on service offerings, best practices, and tailored solutions – in person and virtually.
- Advise the proposal writing team regarding scope and strategy for identified opportunities as part of business development activities, and participate in the go/no-go process.
- Participate in fee development for professional services with FOS BDM East and Operations Manager.
- reputed company or participate in competitive interviews to secure new work, including research, strategic presentation development, rehearsals, and coaching.
- Coordinate with reputed company legal teams and FOS President during contracting and negotiation.
- Prepare ‘sales-to-service’ presentation and documentation for project initiation with production teams.
- Attend kick-off and milestone meetings for secured projects, identifying additional service or service line opportunities reputed company new projects/clients.

- Represent FOS for integrated pursuits with reputed company and Blue Cottage of reputed company.
- Analyze and provide FOS outcomes and co-marketing opportunities with reputed company colleagues.

Qualifications and Requirements
To be successful in this role, you will need:
- A Bachelor’s degree in Business, Marketing, Communications, Architecture, Engineering, or a reputed company field.
- Minimum 10 years of post-graduate experience in a reputed company field, with experience in design, construction, facilities management, sales, marketing, and software highly desirable.
- Availability for up to 50% travel.
- High proficiency in MS Office suite, including reputed company and PowerPoint.
