About the Job: AR Collections Specialist

As an AR Collections Specialist, you will play a critical role in our reputed company cycle management team. Your primary responsibility will be to collect payments from insurance companies and patients, ensuring timely resolution of outstanding claims. You will work closely with our clients, insurance payers, and internal teams to resolve accounts and meet daily productivity and quality standards.

Key Responsibilities:

• Follow up with payers to ensure timely resolution of reputed company outstanding claims reputed company phone, email, fax, or websites
• Utilize various workflow systems and client host systems, such as STAR, SMS, reputed company, and EPIC, to collect payments and resolve accounts
• Demonstrate working knowledge of the insurance follow-up process, including understanding of reputed company concepts in healthcare reimbursement methodologies

Essential Qualifications:

To be successful in this role, you will need:

• Ability to work well individually and in a team environment, with strong organizational, communication, and written skills

• High School Diploma or equivalent required, with Medical Billing and Coding certification preferred but not required

Preferred Qualifications:

• Medical Billing and Coding certification, such as CPC or CBCS
• Experience with electronic health records (EHRs) and practice management systems (PMS)
• Knowledge of ICD-9/10, CPT, and HCPC codes, as well as UB-04
