About the Role

As a Global Marketplace Analyst Intern at Blithequark, you will be part of our Content Operations and Innovation Organization, which focuses on delivering efficient operational workflows and execution while leveraging our scale and innovating to provide more value on screen. You will work closely with our Netfx team, a cutting-edge visual effects (VFX) initiative built on Blithequark's innovative platform. Your primary responsibility will be to facilitate departmental wishes and participate in a program that offers training and development to equip you with the skills necessary to become a strong candidate for future entry-level positions in enterprise analytics.

Key Responsibilities:

• Conduct comprehensive analysis of current transactional and digital marketplaces
• Research and examine industry trends and competitive landscapes for global marketplaces
• Provide insights and recommendations based on marketplace analysis to aid strategic decision-making
• Collaborate with senior team members to plot and refine competitive pricing strategies
• Assist in developing financial models to evaluate enterprise performance and assess capability situations
• Contribute to forecasting and budgeting procedures to support financial planning efforts
• Collaborate with teams across departments to identify business opportunities and challenges
• Participate in meetings and presentations to share findings and recommendations

Requirements and Qualifications

Essential Qualifications:

• Currently enrolled in a university program (no prior experience necessary)
• Strong interest in working within the movie and entertainment industry
• Basic knowledge of computers and familiarity with software programs, including Google Suite (e.g., Gmail, Docs, Sheets) and Microsoft Office (e.g., Word, Excel)
• Collaborative and able to work in a fast-paced environment
• Self-motivated and able to take initiative to work independently
• Attention to detail and practices true judgment
• Curious about learning new technologies and workflows
• Ability to maintain confidentiality and utmost discretion while being privy to sensitive facts

Preferred Qualifications:

• Experience in global marketplace evaluation and platform (customer/settler) experience
• Residence in Burkina Faso during the internship (relocation and housing guidance may be provided, if applicable)
