Job Summary

We're seeking friendly, approachable, and customer-focused individuals to join our team as Customer Service Representatives. As the face of United Airlines, you'll interact with domestic and international customers, providing exceptional service, solving travel problems, and making their journey memorable. Key Responsibilities

  • Interact with customers in a kind, helpful, and professional manner to craft memorable experiences and build customer loyalty
  • Stepping up and anticipating customer needs while maintaining a strong sense of responsibility when customers have been inconvenienced
  • Work daily with a safety mentality, ensuring we hold ourselves and each other to the highest standards
  • Navigate challenges through being resilient, adaptable, and composed under pressure
  • Collaborate with colleagues, assist with new processes and technologies, and contribute to a positive team environment
  • Greet customers, handle ticketing and luggage, and provide solutions to travel-related issues
  • Maintain a high level of product knowledge and stay up-to-date on airline policies, procedures, and services

Requirements and Qualifications

Essential Qualifications:

  • High school diploma, GED, or equivalent required
  • Minimum of 18 years old
  • Comfortable working with computers, mobile devices, and new technologies
  • Physical ability to stand and walk for an 8-hour shift, as well as carry and handle luggage
  • Ability to obtain a SIDA badge and meet airport requirements for badging
  • Legally authorized to work in the United States without sponsorship
  • Ability to meet the company's attendance requirements and uniform and appearance standards

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Previous customer service experience in a similar industry (e.g., airlines, hospitality, or retail)
  • Experience working in a fast-paced, dynamic environment
  • Knowledge of airline operations, travel industry, or customer service principles
  • Ability to work in a remote or Honolulu location
