About blithequark and the Role

As a Customer Service Representative at blithequark, you'll play a crucial role in ensuring that our customers receive top-notch service and that our partners are efficiently connected with viable leads. Our innovative platform, Contractor Connect, enables consumers to request calls from contractors, and it's your responsibility to verify customer information, filter out smaller jobs, and facilitate warm handoffs to our partners.

Key Responsibilities

  • Make continuous outbound calls to customers as per their requests, providing a seamless experience.
  • Utilize an on-screen script and flowchart efficiently to navigate customer interactions.
  • Document and update customer records accurately based on the interactions, ensuring data integrity.
  • Perform warm handoffs of consumers to our partners, ensuring a smooth transition.
  • Maintain a positive and professional demeanor in all customer interactions, building rapport and trust.

Qualifications and Skills

Essential Qualifications

  • Previous experience in customer service, sales, or related fields, with a proven track record of delivering exceptional customer experiences.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to articulate complex information clearly.
  • Ability to prioritize tasks, multitask, and work with minimal supervision.
  • A positive and professional attitude, with a customer-centric approach.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Experience working in a fast-paced, dynamic environment with a high volume of customer interactions.
  • Familiarity with CRM software and other customer service tools.
  • Ability to adapt to new technologies and processes quickly.

Technical Requirements

To work effectively as a remote Customer Service Representative at blithequark, you'll need to meet the following technical specifications:

  • A reliable computer with a minimum i5 CPU, 8 GB RAM, and 128 GB storage (SSD recommended).
  • A high-quality headset with a built-in microphone.
  • An external mouse (no trackpads).
  • A screen resolution of 1366 x 768 (HD) or better.
  • At least 2 USB ports (3+ recommended).
  • Windows 10 or later operating system (no Chromebooks or Macs).
  • An Ethernet port for a stable, hardwired internet connection.
  • Internet speed: 50 Mbps download / 5 Mbps upload.

Work Schedule and Opportunities

We offer both part-time and full-time opportunities for the Customer Service Representative role:

Part-Time Schedule

  • 28 hours per week.
  • Monday, Tuesday, Wednesday, Friday: 4 pm - 9 pm.
  • Saturday: 9 am - 5 pm.

Full-Time Schedule

  • 40 hours per week.
  • Monday, Tuesday, Wednesday, Friday: 12 pm - 8 pm.
  • Saturday: 9 am - 5 pm.
