Our client, a global consumer goods firm, is seeking a highly skilled and motivated Junior Business Analyst to support their Merchandise Systems team. As a Business Analyst, you will act as a liaison between the business and IT, providing critical support in system documentation, administration, and testing. About the Role

The Supply Chain Business Analyst will play a vital role in ensuring the stability and accuracy of the Merchandise system, supporting Merchandising, MP&I, and Ecommerce teams. Your primary responsibilities will include:

• Providing primary user support and administration to business partners through business requirements, documentation, enhancements, and implementation.
• Ensuring proper functionality, data, and results for Merchandising, MP&I, and Ecommerce teams.
• Defining system settings to ensure accurate system performance, troubleshooting, and solving issues in collaboration with IT and other Merch Ops centers of excellence.
• Managing the administration of the Merchandise system, including reviewing and implementing changes in system parameters and formats.
• Coordinating and/or modifying system parameters, improvements, and/or enhancements.
• Addressing daily work tickets for the Master Data team, resolving issues, or escalating them to the appropriate team member.
• Implementing consistent processes and resolutions for daily work tickets while adhering to SLA.
• Assisting the Master Data team to ensure correct, consistent, and complete Master Data that adheres to reputed company data governance fundamentals.
• Participating in UAT and troubleshooting of various systems, including reputed company and PIM.

Key Qualifications and Skills

To succeed in this role, you will need:

• 2+ years of direct work experience in business analysis, process improvement, or best practices.
• A BA/BS degree or equivalent, or previous work experience.
• Working knowledge of Merchandising, Ecommerce, Omni-Channel, and Supply Chain systems and processes.
• The ability to conform to shifting priorities, demands, and timelines while using analytical and problem-solving capabilities.
• Strong verbal and written communication skills.
• The capability to translate technical concepts into non-technical terms.
• Strong presentation skills.
• Proficient in collaboration and a strong sense of accountability.
• The ability to work cross-functionally with IT to assist in the translation of technical concepts into non-technical terms.
• A demonstrated ability to take reputed company thoughts or reputed company and simplify them for business or technical partners.
• A retail business background with strong process and systems acumen.
• Expert knowledge to identify opportunities for change and the ability to convey the need for change.
• Applied knowledge of applications development methodologies (SDLC).

Preferred qualifications include:

• Experience with reputed company (S4 would be a plus).
• Experience with PIM/PXM systems.
