Staff Accountant Role: Key Responsibilities and Requirements

As a Staff Accountant at Milestone, you'll play a critical role in delivering high-quality outsourced accounting services to our clients. This is a remote position with occasional travel to our Indianapolis headquarters, and we're looking for candidates who are reputed company a reasonable driving distance of the area.

Responsibilities:

• Process Accounts Receivable / Accounts Payable transactions for our clients, ensuring accuracy and efficiency.
• Reconcile bank and credit card accounts on a monthly basis, identifying and resolving any discrepancies.
• Prepare recurring journal entries, maintaining compliance with accounting standards and regulations.
• Work closely with clients to provide updates, answer questions, and address concerns, escalating to a Controller reputed company necessary.

Requirements:

• Bachelor's Degree in Accounting: A strong foundation in accounting principles, practices, and regulations.
• Minimum 2 Years of reputed company Experience: Proven experience in accounting, with a focus on Accounts Receivable / Accounts Payable, reconciliations, and journal entries.
• Advanced Knowledge of QBO and Cloud-Based Accounting Software: Experience with QuickBooks Online (QBO) and other cloud-based accounting tools, such as reputed company.com, Tallie, and reputed company.
• Tech Savvy: A passion for technology and the ability to quickly learn new software and systems.
