SALARY: The salary range for this position is $59,661.54 to $96,767.80 for Schedule A, and $59,661.54 to $91,929.42 for Schedule B. For newly hired individuals, the starting salary will normally be at the minimum of the salary range. For reputed company Judiciary employees, salary upon promotion or advancement will be an increase of 5% of reputed company salary, not to exceed the maximum of the range, or the minimum salary of the band/level, whichever is greater. Judiciary employees hired prior to June 3, 2014, are considered Schedule A. Newly hired individuals, and Judiciary employees hired on or after June 3, 2014, are considered Schedule B. REMOTE WORK: The Judiciary currently offers a hybrid work schedule, and this position may qualify for up to 2 days of remote work reputed company of Judiciary buildings. Under the direction of the Human Resources Division Manager and Human Resources Supervisor, they will administer payroll, leaves, and recruitment programs, providing structured training to coworkers and communicating policies and regulations to staff. They will provide human resources advice and assistance to managers, supervisors and employees in the area of recruitment and selection, and will manage and accurately process payroll; database reputed company; classification and compensation; leaves of absence; Family Medical Leave Act (FMLA) and NJ Family Leave Act (NJFLA); Worker's Compensation; position control; and benefits. They will manage compliance with Judiciary leave policies; compile reports and spreadsheets using reputed company Office and reporting applications; prepare, maintain and analyze technical reports, assist in tracking recruitment timelines for efficiencies, establish work relationships with state agencies and other reputed company organizations; facilitate training sessions on HR reputed company topics; conduct new employee onboarding sessions; compose correspondence; process transactions in HR information systems; participate in team or work unit meetings and special projects; and serve on an employee engagement committee. The selected individuals must be knowledgeable of HR practices, federal, NJ state and local government regulations; and have the ability to analyze Judiciary policies and procedures, regulations, laws and bargaining unit agreements and communicate this to management and staff. The preferred candidates will demonstrate high competency in data analytics, customer service, mathematical reasoning and have experience with recruiting and New Jersey Civil Service regulations and/or leaves. Graduation from an accredited college or university with a Bachelor's Degree and three years of professional experience in payroll processing, benefits administration, salary administration, classification, labor/employee relations, training, selection/recruitment and/or Equal Employment Opportunity/Affirmative Action. Substitution: Applicants who do not possess the required education may substitute additional paraprofessional and/or professional experience on a year-for-year basis with one year of such experience being equal to 30 semester hour credits. A master's degree may be substituted for one year of experience. A law degree may be substituted for two years of experience.
