Job Highlights

• Location: 100% Remote
• Start Date: Immediate openings available
• Compensation: Competitive salary range of $125,000 - $135,000 per year, plus an 8-10% bonus
• Contract: 4-month contract to hire

Key Responsibilities

As a Senior Automation Engineer at Workwarp, you will be responsible for:

• Designing and implementing automation solutions using Ansible, Python, and Terraform for cloud and network automation
• Collaborating with technical teams and cloud vendors to define best practice adoption of cloud technology and deliver best-of-breed solutions
• Automating application delivery pipelines for containerized and legacy applications running in the cloud and on-premise
• Provisioning, configuring, and maintaining infrastructure for multiple production and test environments
• Collaborating with cross-functional teams to proactively reduce MTTR or production incidents through automated healing mechanisms and curating health indicators
• Troubleshooting issues in real-time as part of incident response

Essential Qualifications

To be successful in this role, you will need:

• Ansible: Experience with Ansible and automation on an enterprise level
• Python: Proficiency in Python programming language
• Networking: Knowledge of networking concepts, including on-prem and cloud networking
• Enterprise Level Experience: Experience working on large-scale automation projects in an enterprise environment

Preferred Qualifications

We also prefer candidates with:

• Terraform: Experience with Terraform and infrastructure as code
• Azure DevOps: Knowledge of Azure DevOps and DevOps practices
