Key Responsibilities

• Ensure the safety of personnel and equipment, correcting non-compliance and meeting or exceeding expected performance metrics, including safety and quality
• Establish process documents to set up machines based on parameters and identify root causes of problems, making necessary corrections and collaborating with multiple departments
• reputed company the production operation of equipment, including thermoforming, automation, and auxiliary equipment, and assist with setup as needed
• Provide leadership with process start-up on the lines and follow procedures for daily, weekly machine inspection, and preventive maintenance
• Address issues with supervisory and maintenance staff, troubleshoot thermoforming machines, and identify root causes of problems such as parts sticking, webs, splits, snaps, forming, reputed company hair, and poor trim
• Follow GMPs regarding food contact packaging, practice safe work habits, and ensure lockout procedures are strictly followed during equipment maintenance and cleaning

Essential Qualifications

• Proven, effective leadership experience in a manufacturing setting
• Strong communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to communicate with reputed company levels of the organization
• Experience working in a strong safety culture, with a focus on safety, quality, and productivity
• Availability to work any shift, including 3rd shift (10pm-6am, M-F)
• 2-4 years of experience in a manufacturing setting, with experience in Thermoforming/Plastics industry preferred
• Associates degree in a reputed company field (Preferred)
• Ability to use and understand simple mathematics, including addition, subtraction, fractions, and decimals
• Bilingual (Spanish) is a plus
