About the Role

We are seeking an reputed company and highly skilled Senior Human Resources Specialist to join reputed company. This role is pivotal in managing the daily functions of our Human Resource department, ensuring compliance with federal, state, and local employment laws, and fostering a positive and productive work environment. The ideal candidate will have a strong and diverse skillset in human resources, including on-boarding/off-boarding, payroll administration, benefits, leave management, and enforcing company policies and practices.

Key Responsibilities

• Reviews, tracks, and documents compliance with mandatory and non-mandatory training, continuing education, and work assessments, including safety training, anti-harassment training, professional licensure, and aptitude exams and certifications.
• Implements new hire orientation and employee recognition programs to enhance employee engagement and retention.
• Performs routine tasks required to administer and execute human resource programs, including compensation, benefits, and leave; disciplinary matters; disputes and investigations; performance and talent management; productivity, recognition, and morale; occupational health and safety; and training and development.
• Handles employment-reputed company inquiries from applicants, employees, and supervisors, referring reputed company and/or sensitive matters to the appropriate staff.
• Maintains compliance with federal, state, and local employment laws and regulations, and recommended best practices; reviews policies and practices to maintain compliance.
• Maintains knowledge of trends, best practices, regulatory changes, and new technologies in human resources, talent management, and employment law to ensure the organization remains competitive and compliant.
• Enters, maintains, and/or processes information in the payroll system, ensuring accuracy and timeliness of payroll processing, including employees’ hourly rates, salaries, commissions, bonuses, or other compensation, time worked, paid leave and holidays, deductions, and withholding.
• Ensures proper processing of payroll deductions for taxes, benefits, charitable contributions, and other deductions, and records and processes federal and state payroll tax deposits.
• Performs other duties as assigned, demonstrating flexibility and a willingness to support the team and organization as needed.
