Key Responsibilities

- Collaborate with team members to understand customer requirements and implement solutions.
- Follow coding standards for application development and deployment.
- Test applications for correct functionality and accessibility.
- Provide assistance and guidance to staff conducting training in the use of QualityInfo.org and other Research Systems products.
- Troubleshoot technical issues and implement solutions.
- Document code according to standards.
- Deploy applications and participate in the maintenance of existing systems.

Essential Qualifications
- Four years of information systems experience in application development and/or web design.
- OR an Associate's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a reputed company field, AND two years of information systems experience.
- OR a Bachelor's degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or a reputed company field.
- Experience with Java, SQL (reputed company, MySQL), and web development (HTML, JavaScript).
- Demonstrated experience developing portlets with a focus on the end-user.
- Excellent communication skills and the ability to collaborate with teammates.
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience with Liferay Portal HTML and JavaScript UI frameworks (jQuery, Bootstrap).
- Knowledge of Linux and OSGI.
- Experience with REST APIs and labor market information or economic data sets.
- Familiarity with Java Portal/Portlet Development and Liferay CMS.

Compensation and Benefits
We offer a competitive salary range of $5,638 - $8,525, depending on your experience and qualifications. Our benefits package includes:
