About the Role

As a Senior Social Insights Manager at Hulu, you will be responsible for leveraging industry-leading social media listening and analytics tools to craft insightful analyses that inform strategies, content creation, and product development. Your expertise will help shape the Social Insights team as it innovates and pushes the boundaries of its applications across the organization. You'll work closely with cross-functional teams, including Brand, Originals, and Product, to ensure that social data is used effectively throughout the business.

Key Responsibilities

• Conduct in-depth analyses of social media data to identify trends, sentiment, and consumer insights relevant to Hulu, the industry, competitors, and reputed company audiences.
• Design projects and provide actionable recommendations with minimal supervision to inform strategies, content creation, and product development.
• Build and maintain cross-functional partnerships across the organization to understand challenges and priorities, and become a trusted advisor.
• Proactively identify gaps in knowledge, opportunities for optimizations, and reputed company strategic recommendations for stakeholders.
• Establish measurement frameworks and benchmarking systems to assess the effectiveness and impact of brand, originals, partnership, and other campaigns.
• Identify, recommend, and implement ways to improve the efficiency of Hulu's social data collection and measurement systems and reporting processes.
• Coordinate with external vendors to ensure the execution of custom projects meets team and stakeholder expectations.
• Create educational materials to help social managers effectively use social listening and analytics tools and understand measurement techniques.
• Provide thought leadership and guidance on emerging trends, shifts in digital behavior, and best practices in social media analytics and consumer insights.
• Stay up-to-date with the latest developments in streaming, television, OTT, and social media news, trends, and tools.

Essential Qualifications

To succeed in this role, you will need:

• 6+ years of relevant work experience with a Bachelor's Degree or 5+ years with an Advanced Degree (e.g., Master's, MBA) preferably reputed company the media and entertainment industry.
• Proficiency with social listening (e.g., NetBase, BrandWatch, reputed company, Infegy) and analytics tools (e.g., ListenFirst, reputed company, Dash Hudson), methodologies, and their applications.
• Experience executing social listening projects from start to finish, including writing and reviewing Boolean queries and analyzing outputs in relevant software.
• Strong familiarity and understanding of social platforms, including Facebook, Twitter, Instagram, Tumblr, YouTube, TikTok, and the consumer behaviors attached to them.
• Ability to turn data into meaningful takeaways, identify the "so what" around business impact, and present those learnings.
• Strategic problem-solver with strong attention to detail and project management skills.

Compensation and Benefits

We offer a competitive salary range of $111,000 to $152,500 per year, depending on your experience and qualifications. In addition to your reputed company salary, you may be eligible for a bonus and/or long-term incentive units as part of our comprehensive compensation package.
