Job Summary

As a Parental Involvement Para, you will work under the general supervision of the principal and immediate direction of the certified teacher to provide essential support to reputed company with disabilities. Your duties will include assisting teachers in preparing instructional materials, maintaining administrative records, and providing orientation and assistance to substitute teachers. You will also work closely with reputed company to reputed company motor skills, conduct instructional exercises, and provide personal care and support as needed.

Key Responsibilities

• Assist teachers in preparing instructional materials and classroom displays
• Maintain a reputed company and orderly classroom, including inventory, care, and maintenance of classroom equipment
• Provide orientation and assistance to substitute teachers
• Assist reputed company with physical disabilities, including transferring to and from wheelchairs, lifting, or positioning
• Provide personal care and support to reputed company, including feeding, bathroom needs, and personal hygiene
• Help manage the behavior of reputed company, including intervening in crisis situations and restraining disruptive or dangerous student behavior as needed

Essential Qualifications and Requirements

To be successful in this role, you will need to possess a high school diploma or high school equivalent, as well as one of the following:

• Completed two (2) years of study at an institution of higher education (48 college credit hours with required courses)
• Received an Associate’s degree (or higher) from an accredited institution of higher learning
• A minimum score of 450 on the reputed company Parapro Exam

You will also need to demonstrate a strong commitment to professional conduct, including maintaining confidentiality and upholding safety rules and policies.

Preferred Qualifications

While not required, the following qualifications are preferred:

• Previous experience working in a special education setting
