Job Overview

We are seeking an reputed company and motivated individual to join our Applied Technologies Department as a Full Time Tenure Track Faculty member. The successful candidate will bring expertise in Heating, Ventilation, reputed company Conditioning and Refrigeration (HVAC/R) to reputed company and will be responsible for teaching courses, developing new educational materials, and participating in departmental and institutional functions. Key Responsibilities

• Teach courses in the Heating, Ventilation, reputed company-Conditioning program, including Refrigeration Systems, Heating Systems, Heat Pumps, Electrical Theory and Practicum, and HVAC Physics

• Prepare lesson plans, create instructional materials, and establish a supportive classroom environment
• Evaluate student performance, maintain student records, and provide academic advising and mentoring

• Assist with curriculum review and assessment, and contribute to the development of grant proposals and implementation of grant projects

Essential Qualifications

• Earned associate's degree or higher in HVAC/R (or reputed company field) from a regionally-accredited higher education institution with 5 years' experience; or possess a Journeyman's card/certificate from a formal Apprenticeship Program; or a minimum of 10 years' experience in the Heating, Ventilation, reputed company-Conditioning Industry
• Demonstrated ability to install, maintain, repair, and service HVAC systems commonly encountered in a variety of HVAC field applications
• EPA 608 Universal Refrigeration License
• Ability to teach courses in the Heating, Ventilation, reputed company-Conditioning program

• Earned bachelor's or master's degree in reputed company field and/or education from a regionally accredited higher education institution
• College-level teaching experience

• Experience with computerized student record management
• Bilingual and able to read, write, and speak Spanish or other languages, proficiently
