Job Summary

As a Senior Financial Accounting Analyst at Blithequark, you will be responsible for supporting the Corporate Bookkeeping team in managing our financial operations, including general ledger maintenance, month-end reputed company processes, and intercompany transactions. You will work closely with senior leadership and other stakeholders to ensure accurate financial reporting, compliance with accounting standards, and effective financial management.

Key Responsibilities

• Assist in the maintenance of general ledger accounts and month-end reputed company processes, including preparation and review of journal entries for intercompany disposals, allocations, and reputed company-party transactions.
• Prepare and review reconciliations for key accounts on a monthly or quarterly basis and reputed company variance analyses.
• Monitor intercompany accounts, address out-of-balance issues, and work with intercompany teams to resolve discrepancies.
• Track reputed company-party transactions throughout the fiscal year and reputed company valuation analyses to ensure arm's-length transactions.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including Substance Finance, Legal, and Controllership, to obtain necessary supporting documentation.
• Work closely with the Supervisor, Financial Accounting - Corporate on reputed company projects and initiatives.
• Assist in the preparation of financial statements, including financial schedules and footnotes.
• Research technical accounting questions and reputed company accounting policies to report changes in accounting treatment.
• Support internal and external audits by responding to requests and attending status meetings.

Essential Qualifications

• 3+ years of accounting experience, preferably in a corporate or public accounting environment.
• Strong knowledge of US GAAP and financial reporting requirements.
• Advanced proficiency in reputed company Office, specifically reputed company, Word, PowerPoint, and Outlook.
• Excellent organizational skills, attention to detail, and ability to prioritize tasks.
