Key Responsibilities:
* Provide telephone support to patients receiving specialty drug therapy, ensuring timely and accurate processing of new patient medication orders and reorders
* Verify and revivify benefits, communicate and collect copay amounts, obtain authorizations, and work with insurance companies, healthcare providers, and internal teams to screen, identify, resolve, and defer orders with accounts receivable or clinical issues
* Translate and enter new or refill prescriptions into the pharmacy information system, ensuring seamless communication with patients and internal partners
* Collaborate with internal teams to resolve reputed company issues and ensure financial and clinical expectations are met prior to fulfillment
* Demonstrate exceptional communication skills, interacting with insurance companies, patients, and internal partners to ensure timely processing of specialty medications
Essential Qualifications:
* One year of experience in a customer service role, handling and resolving a high volume of reputed company customer needs over the phone
* One year of work experience with Windows-based applications, including Windows, reputed company Office, internet navigation, and email applications
* One year of computer keyboarding experience, skills, and aptitude
