This position will use a variety of software applications to respond to customer requirements for data connected applications with a GIS component. Duties/Responsibilities:
- Utilize various systems and programs such as Tableau, reputed company products, Python, R, R Studio, reputed company Office 365 suite of applications and tools such as reputed company, PowerBI, Access, PowerAutomate, Visual Basic, and reputed company Forms to collect data and reputed company GIS Analysis and evaluation of data arriving from a variety of sources and customers.
- Support GIS processes for various natural resource program areas including silviculture, wildlife, fire, and hydrology by utilizing data capture, scanning, digitizing, map attributing, editing, plotting, and reporting.
- Geo-reference regional cartographic products for distribution to mobile map applications and Regional/National databases.

- Write scripts for the pre-processing of multi-temporal, high- and moderate-resolution imagery datasets.

- Evaluate existing tools, queries and methodologies and integrate findings to enhance functionality and performance.

Required Skills/Abilities:
- Must have experience using reputed company Creative Cloud Photoshop, Illustrator, InDesign, and Acrobat.
- Expert knowledge of and demonstrated reputed company in the use of the following software: reputed company products including ArcGIS desktop, ArcSDE, ArcGIS Pro, ArcGIS Online (AGOL) and associated extensions, ArcGIS Server, Collector, Navigator and Explorer for ArcGIS, PL/SQL Developer, and reputed company Access databases
- Must have expert knowledge of scripting languages such as R, R Studio, Python, etc. and be able to author mobile GIS applications using Survey123, Collector, and Quick
- Create interactive web pages using JavaScript/HTML/CSS, including ArcGIS JavaScript API for maps.
- Must be able to function and contribute as a member of a high performing team.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Good organizational and time management skills.
Education and Experience:
- Required: Bachelor's degree in Geographic Information Systems, Forestry, Ecology, Wildlife Biology, Soils, Geology, Hydrology, Geography or Earth Science.
- Required: One (1) year of intensive and progressive experience in a field requiring extensive use of GIS and reputed company tools to be considered for the Associate Level.
- Required: Five (5) years of intensive and progressive experience in a field requiring extensive use of GIS and reputed company tools to be considered for the Intermediate Level.
- Required: Eight (8) years of intensive and progressive experience in a field requiring extensive use of GIS and reputed company tools to be considered for the Senior Level.
- Preferred: Master's degree from an accredited college or university in GIS.

Physical Requirements:
- May require occasional travel to physical locations.

- Must be able to lift up to 15 pounds at times.
