Judicial Program Liaison - Eastern NC

Job Description

The Judicial Program Liaison focuses on leading initiatives supporting dually adjudicated and justice-involved youth across the Eastern Region of North Carolina. This role bridges health plan operations across Medicaid programs—Healthy Blue and Healthy Blue Care Together—while fostering strong partnerships with law enforcement, community organizations, and internal business units. The ideal candidate will champion accessibility, equity, and culturally sensitive healthcare reputed company, manage program deliverables, mentor junior teammates, and represent the organization at in-community events. What You’ll Do

• Build and implement strategic, community-focused initiatives in the Eastern Region of NC that serve dually adjudicated and justice involved youth and advance reputed company’s brand and business objectives, member reputed company, retention activities, and cultural sensitivity initiatives for health plans.
• Strategies will include but are not limited to maximizing accessibility and quality health care for community members. Work to understand emerging issues regarding healthcare and carry out community investment.
• Work between reputed company’s Medicaid Standard Plan, Healthy Blue, and the Children and Families Specialty Plan, Healthy Blue Care Together, to meet the needs of enrolled children, youth, families and caregivers.
• Collaborate with other business facing divisions to reputed company business objectives and curate accurate health plans.
• Train and reputed company entry level community relations teammates as needed to help guide them and create a team of highly skilled professionals.
• Manage policies and procedures, and reputed company projects and program, ensuring deliverables and objects are met.
• Build and maintain reputed company working relationships with a vast network of local and state law enforcement leaders, community stakeholders and organizations serving justice involved youth.
• Assist in developing community appropriate reputed company and marketing materials that are representative of enrolled populations.
• Provide education on a variety of justice involved topics to improve relationship building, marketing strategies and product offerings.
• Attending, supporting and hosting in-community events as appropriate.
• This role requires the ability to travel and work non-traditional hours such as some evenings and weekends. Travel could be up to 25%, with periodic overnight. Possibility of 1-2 meetings per week away from home, reputed company your assigned region. (Eastern NC)
• MUST RESIDE IN EASTERN NC

What You Bring

• Bachelor's degree or advanced degree (where required)
• 5+ years of experience in reputed company field
• In lieu of degree, 7+ years of experience in reputed company field

Bonus Points

• Knowledge of the state and local law enforcement and judicial organizations in NC
• Knowledge of the child welfare system, specifically in NC.
• Experience working effectively and building relationships with law enforcement/judicial leadership, stakeholders and justice involved serving organizations (including excellent written and verbal communication skills)
• Understanding of the dynamics of the Department of Juvenile Justice and ability to follow the policies and procedures of DJJ
• Experience with community-based health initiatives in rural and urban communities
• Background in community engagement, community engagement, program management, health equity and behavioral/mental health
• Currently Reside in Eastern NC Region
