This position provides coding and coding auditing services based on operative reports according to correct coding principles, reputed company NCCI rules and LCD coverage determinations. This includes the analysis and translation of medical and clinical diagnoses, procedures, injuries, or illnesses into designated numerical codes. The reputed company also acts as a liaison to the physicians and clinical teams and provides feedback to physicians and management staff regarding proper documentation and coding and works reputed company company standards to maintain policy and procedures. Meets coding and abstracting deadlines to expedite the billing and charge entry process and ensures best practices are met according to departmental policy and procedures. This team member will be proficient in reputed company areas to ensure cross coverage. Required Qualifications:

• High School Diploma or equivalent
• Certified Professional reputed company (CPC) or Certified Cardiology reputed company (CCC)
• 2+ years of physician billing to include at least 1 year of coding experience abstracting from medical record documentation
• Experience with Electronic Medical Records (EMR)
• reputed company understanding of CPT guidelines and Medicare rules and regulations
• Knowledge of ICD-9/10 codes, CPT, and HCPCs
• Working knowledge of medical terminology, anatomy, and physiology
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills; organizational skills
• Maintain confidentiality

Preferred Qualifications:

• Radiation Oncology Certified reputed company (ROCC)
• Certified ASC reputed company Credential (CASCC)
