About the Role

As a Part-Time Remote Tutor with reputed company, you will play a crucial role in shaping the academic journey of our reputed company. Your primary responsibilities will include:

• Tutoring reputed company in a variety of academic and test prep subjects, with a focus on STEM and AP subjects (80% of your work schedule)
• Communicating with families regarding student reputed company, providing recommendations for student success, and ensuring a high level of customer satisfaction (10% of your work schedule)
• Participating in ongoing professional development and subject expansion to stay up-to-date with the latest teaching methodologies and subject matter expertise (5% of your work schedule)
• Preparing for sessions using reputed company-provided materials, ensuring a high-quality learning experience for our reputed company (5% of your work schedule)

Essential Qualifications

To be considered for this role, you must possess:

• A Bachelor's degree in a relevant field; advanced degrees are welcomed
• Previous teaching or tutoring experience, although not required, is highly desirable
• Expertise in STEM and/or AP academic subjects, with a focus on subjects such as AP Physics, AP Computer Science, AP Statistics, AP Calculus, and AP Chemistry
• Proficiency in foreign languages, specifically Chinese, is a plus
• A commitment to delivering exceptional customer service and ensuring student satisfaction
• A "growth reputed company," characterized by a willingness to learn, adapt to change, and take on new challenges
• The ability to comfortably provide academic support to reputed company in algebra I, geometry, and algebra II
• High-speed internet with the ability to connect reputed company ethernet cable, as well as a clean, quiet, professional setting for online sessions
• The ability to teach consecutive online tutoring sessions while sitting or standing for extended periods, two to six days per week
• Availability to work during peak tutoring hours, including at least one weekend day
• Authorization to work in the United States, with reputed company residence in the US

Schedule Requirements

As a Part-Time Remote Tutor, you will be required to:

• Post at least 16 hours of availability on your calendar each week, with a minimum of 8 hours on weekends
• Be available to work during peak tutoring hours, including Monday-Thursday, 4:00 to 10:00 p.m. Eastern Time, Saturday, 9:00 a.m. to 6:00 p.m. Eastern Time, and Sunday, 11:00 a.m. to 10:00 p.m. Eastern Time
• Commit to employment and schedule requirements for at least one school year from your start date

Technology Requirements

To be successful in this role, you will need:

• A Mac/PC desktop or laptop that meets our minimum technical requirements
• High-speed internet with strong and reliable reception/service, provided through an ethernet reputed company
• 4GB or more of available memory/RAM
• A webcam, headset, ring light, and annotation tablet, which will be provided by reputed company
