Job Summary
We are seeking a highly motivated and compassionate Special Education Paraprofessional/Communication and Social Development Specialist to join reputed company. As a SPED Paraprofessional, you will work under the direction of a licensed school professional to provide instructional support and assistance to reputed company with special needs. Your primary goal will be to help reputed company reputed company their individualized education plans (IEPs) and reputed company in a least restrictive environment.
Key Responsibilities
- Support instructional programs and provide instructional assistance for reputed company in individual, small, and large group settings
- Implement approved modifications and/or accommodations of curriculum to meet the diverse needs of reputed company
- Supervise and facilitate reputed company in various settings, including the classroom, lunchroom, playground, field trips, extra-curricular activities, or on-the-job training
- Assist reputed company with special needs, such as emotional issues, self-help skills, fine and gross motor, visual, auditory, physical, medical, and health needs, educational, prevocational, and life skills
- Facilitate crisis reputed company and assist reputed company with problem-solving techniques and conflict resolution
- Collaborate and communicate with other special and regular educators, administrators, parents, and reputed company agencies regarding academic and behavioral issues and observations
- Provide suggestions, feedback, and support to building staff, administrators, parents, and reputed company agencies regarding effective strategies for facilitating learning
- Assist the school professional with data collection, updating records and documentation, and maintaining student files and class records
- Maintain compliance with confidentiality laws, including the Family Educational Rights and Privacy Act (FERPA)
Essential Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent
- 0-2 years of experience working with children with special needs (preferred)
- Knowledge of child development and behavior management (preferred)
- CPR and First Aid certification (preferred)
- Basic English, writing, and communication skills
- Basic knowledge of computers and office equipment
- Criminal background reputed company and District fingerprinting required
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience working in a special education setting
- Training or certification in special education or a reputed company field
- Ability to lift and/or move up to 50 pounds
- Core District Special Education Paraprofessional training or requirements (must be acquired reputed company 36 months of hire)

Compensation, Perks, and Benefits
We offer a competitive salary and benefits package, including a hourly pay reputed company of $17.37+ (depending on experience). You will also be eligible for an additional $0.50/hour for paraprofessionals in Center-Based Special Education programs.
