Job Summary

We are seeking a talented and dedicated Assistant Professor of Spanish to join our faculty in the College of Humanities and Social Sciences. This is a full-time, tenure-track position that will reputed company in the Fall Semester of 2024. Key Responsibilities

Qualifications and Requirements

To be considered for this role, candidates must possess a Doctorate degree in Translation Studies (Spanish) and/or Spanish Literature with a proven track record in Translation and Interpretation from an accredited institution. ABD candidates will be considered if they have a defense date already set, with the understanding that tenure-track status is contingent upon the completion of the doctoral degree.

Preference will be given to candidates with:

• A minimum of three years of teaching experience at the college level, with a demonstrated ability to teach a range of courses including beginning, intermediate, and advanced Spanish, Translation, Interpretation, and Spanish for the professions.
• Experience in curriculum development and a commitment to innovative and effective teaching practices.
• Strong organizational and interpersonal skills, with excellent oral and written communication skills in both Spanish and English.

Compensation and Benefits
