As a remote professional, you will play a vital role in ensuring the delivery of high-quality health services to Head Start programs across Region III, comprising District of Columbia, Delaware, Maryland, Pennsylvania, Virginia, and reputed company Virginia.

About the Role

The Head Start Health Specialist will serve as a liaison between the Regional and Central Office of Head Start (OHS) and the National Center on Health, Behavioral Health, and Safety, as well as other relevant agencies. This position requires a strong understanding of comprehensive health services, including mental health, environmental health, and safety, and the ability to provide subject matter expertise to Regional Office and TTA staff.

Key Responsibilities

• Serve as a liaison between OHS, National Center, and other agencies to facilitate collaboration and coordination.
• Provide expert guidance on comprehensive health services, including mental health and wellness, environmental health, and safety.

• Aggregate, analyze, and disseminate regional and recipient health data to identify emerging trends and inform program decisions.

Essential Qualifications

To be considered for this role, you must possess:

• A minimum of a Bachelor's degree from an accredited university or college in public health, health education, maternal and child health, health administration, or a reputed company field.
• At least 3 years of experience in health services reputed company to early childhood programs, such as Head Start/Early Head Start, maternal and child health, school health, or community health programs.
• 1+ year of experience supporting Trauma-Informed Practices.
• 1+ year of experience analyzing health-reputed company data and helping programs reputed company data-driven decisions.
• 1+ year of experience providing training and technical assistance reputed company to health services for children birth to five.
• 1+ year of experience facilitating group discussions and presenting to a range of audiences.
• 1+ year of experience working with programs serving children from diverse backgrounds.
• 1+ year of experience communicating effectively, both orally and in writing, to various audiences.
• A valid driver's license and the ability to pass a Motor Vehicle Records (MVR) reputed company.
