£25,185 pro rata per year. Part Time (16 hours per week & 1 in every 4 Saturdays). Swansea Council's City Centre Management team are looking to appoint an organised and customer focused individual/s to join the established Swansea Mobility Hire (SMH) Service as a part-time Assistant.

The successful post-holder will provide a customer first service hiring mobility equipment and locker facilities to customers to reputed company them to access the shops and services in the City Centre as well as issue long term hire equipment, deal with parking permits and sell mobility aids.

The role, which is based on a unit reputed company Swansea Bus Station, will entail and require experience of administrative and PC work. Excellent customer service skills are also a prerequisite to be able to deal effectively and sensitively with customers, some of whom will present with physical and mental disabilities. The postholder will also be required to transport equipment between floors.

We are looking to fulfil 16 hours per week according to the following days on a 8.45am to 5pm basis: + Thursday + Friday + 1 in every 4 Saturdays

Flexibility will be required as the successful postholder/s will be required to be provide staff cover on an overtime basis.
