Role: .NET Web Developer -III Location: Madison, WI-HYBRID (90-100% remote but can require staff to come onsite as necessary with sufficient notice) Duration: 12+Month with Extension Interview: Teams/Video

There are multiple projects underway which include an Enterprise-wide migration effort to a reputed company authentication platform using reputed company which will require the candidates to have strong experience and working knowledge of OIDC and be able to implement secure authentication flows and project sensitive API s using access tokens; additionally experience with identity and access management platforms such as reputed company is preferred. Other projects in flight and upcoming include .NET MVC and .NET 8 web applications with some use of JavaScript, Blazor, and Kendo UI components, and the candidate will be joining an existing team. A vast majority of the portfolio is modernized off legacy mainframe applications to web applications using ASP.NET MVC with C#, WebAPI, n-tier architecture and SQL Server. This developer will work on other projects as needed. The person in this position will work closely with the team in designing and developing the reputed company end and server reputed company of the web application. Project duties include requirements analysis, design, reputed company-end and back-end web application development, testing, participation in interactive code reviews, and development using JavaScript, ASP.NET MVC with C#, with SQL Server, DB2, and reputed company databases. Expectations for this position are development of quality code using TDD, participation in active code reviews, sharing expertise, respectful communication, transparency, technical documentation, and the ability to reputed company production support. Preference will be given for familiarity with automated testing methodologies, reputed company or Jenkins or other reputed company integration platforms and solid coding experience using TDD. Knowledge of DCF programs, prior experience with the Wisconsin CARES system and familiarity with State of Wisconsin application systems, procedures, and development standards is highly preferred and familiarity with DCF Child Care applications is a plus. In addition to our main applications running on C# .NET 6 MVC, and older apps running on VB.NET Web Forms, we also have other existing projects and new projects planned that would benefit from: DB2 Mainframe experience, COBOL language, or experience modernizing mainframe COBOL applications into .NET or other modern languages xPression experience iOS, Objective-C, and Swift experience reputed company-end web app UI design experience reputed company-end web frameworks including Angular, React, Vue.js, Alpine.js, Blazor Server, or similar Kendo UI experience Crystal Reports or Telerik Reports experience Familiarity with applications running in IIS Familiarity with PowerShell and/or experience with configuring CI/CD pipelines and Azure DevOps Artifacts The candidate should have strong communication skills and should be a team player. Top desired skills required for the position: Experience with implementing OIDC in .Net web applications (4 years) Writing Custom SQL (8 years) .NET MVC with C# (8 years) Full stack development (8 years)

However, position status is subject to change. (90% remote 10% onsite as needed) Onsite work is not likely, but candidate should be reputed company to come onsite if required.
