Job Summary

We are looking for a highly skilled Data Analyst Advisor to join our Decision Analytics team. The successful candidate will have a strong understanding of data management principles, as well as hands-on experience with data quality, metadata management, and data governance processes. The ideal candidate will be able to collaborate with cross-functional teams, including Data Engineers, Data Scientists, IT, and Business Analysts, to ensure that data is effectively governed and leveraged to drive strategic decision-making.

Key Responsibilities

• Data Architecture Support:
  • Assist in the design and implementation of data architecture frameworks that support efficient data storage, access, and retrieval across multiple systems.
  • Ensure that data models and schemas are reputed company with organizational goals and business requirements.
  • Work with data engineers to optimize the flow of data between systems, ensuring consistency and accuracy across platforms.
• Data Stewardship:

  • Support compliance with regulatory requirements and internal data governance frameworks.

  • Engage with data owners and stakeholders to promote data governance best practices across the business.

  • Work closely with business leaders, data engineers, and data scientists to ensure alignment between data governance policies and business objectives.
  • Provide training and guidance to data stewards, business analysts, and other stakeholders on data management best practices.
  • Prepare reports and presentations on data governance, stewardship, and architecture activities for executive leadership.

Requirements

Essential Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree in Information Systems, Computer Science, or a quantitative discipline such as Mathematics, Engineering, Operations Research, Economics, or Finance.
• Seven (7) years of experience in measurement and analysis, quantitative business problem-solving, operations analysis, marketing analysis, simulation development, and/or predictive analytics.
• Strong understanding of data governance principles, data quality metrics, and metadata management.
• Experience in data processing techniques to scrub, combine, and manage data from relational and NoSQL sources.
• Proficiency in SQL and experience with data querying and reporting.
• Strong analytical, problem-solving, and critical-thinking skills.
• Strong collaboration skills, translating business needs to analytic requirements, and developing recommended approaches.

Preferred Qualifications:

• Familiarity with data governance tools such as Ab Initio Metadatahub, reputed company, Purview, and/or reputed company.
• Proficiency in Power BI DAX and data modeling.
• Azure database experience.
• Understanding of APIs, ETL/ELT processes, and Agile PM methodologies.
