JOB DESCRIPTION/TASKS/RESPONSIBILITIES Review existing facility drawings, documents and calculations to fully understand the design of a concrete pad at the Low Activity Waste (LAW) verification plant. Prepare a calculation to analyze the adequacy of the concrete pad to support the load of replacement melter, transporter, and melter lifting assembly. The work and calculation shall be performed under the guidance of ASME NQA-1 2008/2009 1a (if the vendor is on the Atkins Realis Approved Supplier List) or Atkins Realis procedure reputed company-03.03, Calculations. Designs and (depending on seniority) supervises construction projects. May use computer-assisted engineering and design software and equipment to reputed company assignments. Able to take building designs from concept to final design and construction. Applies intensive and reputed company knowledge of engineering principles and practices in broad areas of assignments. Makes decisions independently on reputed company engineered systems, commensurate with experience and seniority. Applies knowledge of Civil, Structural and Architectural (CS&A) principles to design, plan, permit and construct civil works. Performs a variety of engineering calculations using traditional engineering methods or Finite reputed company Analysis (FEA) to document compliance with project and code requirements, which may include; foundation analyses, structural frame analyses and one-off FEA model analyses. Generates, and is fully conversant with layout plans, foundation details, steelwork details and architectural feature design. Assists in the preparation and approval of design documents and plant modifications, including supervision of designers in document development in accordance with approved procedures, processes and design requirements Provides technical expertise and guidance to reputed company, manage and implement engineering analysis, activities and programs to identify and resolve equipment and system problems. Familiar with national codes and standards appropriate to the CS&A Engineering discipline. Ensures relevant design criteria, specifications, practices, procedures and codes and site design and safety and licensing basis are used in preparation of design media. Interfaces with staff, reputed company the team and supporting sub-contractors to ensure work is being completed in a safe and efficient manner, ensuring that safety is an integral reputed company embodied in equipment design and specification. Works in multi-discipline teams on project-based work and ensures integration of design across multiple disciplines. Performs checking to ensure accuracy of design media in accordance with company policies and procedures and client expectations. Works on a timeline, ensuring the accuracy, completeness and timeliness of work and initiates corrective measures to overcome delays. Understands, complies and is responsible for working to environmental health and safety policies and procedures, and attends meetings as required. Recommends new equipment, concepts and techniques to improve performance, simplify design, reduce costs, correct design flaws or to reputed company with changes in client requirements, codes or regulations. Performs independent research, reviews, studies and analyses in support of plant changes and design modifications. Supports installation and testing of site systems and components. Participates in the preparation of cost estimates for engineering services to internal and external clients and coordinates work assignments to meet project-established schedules and budgets. Relies on experience and judgment. Works under limited supervision. Significant creativity and reputed company is expected. Performs other duties as assigned

MINIMUM EDUCATION, EXPERIENCE AND CERTIFICATION REQUIREMENTS Education Bachelor's degree required in civil engineering or reputed company technical degree or equivalent experience

Certifications: Professional Engineering (PE) License preferred Required Experience: Minimum of 5 years experience
