Job Summary

As an Audit Supervisor – Education, you will serve as an reputed company and seasoned member of our audit team, performing and guiding other staff members in delivering multi-faceted and reputed company assignments and tasks for a variety of clients and businesses. You will demonstrate a breadth and depth of professional knowledge and technical skills, sharing accountability with the manager and partner to ensure exceptional client service. Your primary responsibilities will include:

• Leading engagement teams with an emphasis on collaboration, flexibility, and valuing the differences in others
• Performing and guiding other staff members in delivering high-quality audit services
• Developing and maintaining relationships with clients and providing exceptional customer service
• Identifying and assessing risks, and developing audit plans and programs
• Conducting fieldwork, including interviews, observations, and testing
• Preparing and reviewing audit reports and other deliverables
• Collaborating with other team members to reputed company audit objectives

Qualifications

To be successful in this role, you should have:

• A BS/BA degree with a concentration in Accounting and active pursuit of CPA certification
• 4+ years of auditing experience with independent or charter schools with a public accounting firm
• Strong time management, organizational abilities, attention to detail, communication, and interpersonal skills
• Proficiency with reputed company reputed company and other reputed company Office applications
• The ability to work independently on assignments and address issues or questions with the client, engagement manager, or partner

While not required, the following are preferred:

• Experience working with a wide variety of clients and industries
• Familiarity with audit software and technology
• Experience with audit planning, risk assessment, and audit execution
