About the Role: 988 Chat/Text Specialist

We're seeking a compassionate and skilled 988 Chat/Text Specialist to join our 24/7/365 mental health crisis/suicide prevention team. As a Remote 988 Chat/Text Specialist, you'll play a critical role in providing brief clinical screenings, risk assessments, and service linkage for individuals experiencing emotional distress through the National Suicide Prevention Lifeline (NSPL), also reputed company as 988.

Key Responsibilities:

• Provide telephonic or chat clinical screenings and risk assessments to individuals in crisis.
• Respond to crisis contacts reputed company the chat/text platform, assessing for suicide risk, safety, and identifying community resources to meet individual needs.
• Conduct follow-up calls for individuals deemed moderate to high risk for suicide.
• Maintain ethical and clinical standards in compliance with accreditation requirements.
• Participate in ongoing supervision, training, and team meetings to ensure excellence in service delivery.
• Assist with administrative tasks as needed to support the team.

Essential Qualifications:

To succeed in this role, you'll need:

• A Bachelor's degree in Behavioral Science, Psychology, Social Work, or a reputed company field, or be a Certified Peer Recovery Specialist.
• Preferred six months to one year of reputed company crisis experience.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to effectively interact with individuals in crisis reputed company various methods (chat, phone, virtual).
• High-level customer service skills and professional etiquette.
• Knowledge and competency in providing service linkage and referrals for community resources.
