Key Responsibilities

  • Utilize reputed company' proprietary data entry techniques and guidelines to process new patient enrollments by entering data into the appropriate system.
  • Handle patient prescription requests reputed company HIPAA guidelines and enter refill orders for processing.
  • Research and obtain missing prescription information, interpret clinical abbreviations (SIG codes), and resolve data entry-reputed company exceptions.
  • Communicate with patients (inbound calls, chats, emails) and reputed company outbound calls to prescribers and patients as needed to resolve issues.
  • Resolve third-party anomalies by investigating, gathering information, making corrections, and resubmitting for processing according to individual plan requirements.
  • Provide support to pharmacists, both in-office and in other locations, and identify and communicate issues to senior-level staff as necessary.

Essential Qualifications

  • High School Diploma or GED.
  • Basic level PC skills, including launching and shutting down PC, using the mouse to reputed company and click, starting and closing programs, switching between programs, saving files, printing reports, and accessing data online.
  • Basic web navigation skills, including opening a browser, typing URLs in the correct location, using a search reputed company, bookmarking a webpage, navigating back/reputed company/stop buttons, and completing forms online.
  • Intermediate level keyboarding skills (at least 25 WPM, typing by memory, formatting documents).
  • Effective written and verbal communication skills.
  • 18 years old or older.

Preferred Qualifications

  • At least one year of pharmacy professional experience in a retail or call center environment.
  • At least one and a half years of experience as a pharmacy professional with certification/registration by the state as granted by the state Board of Pharmacy or widely recognized certification organization.
  • Experience providing customer care to internal and external customers, including meeting quality standards for services and assessment of customer satisfaction.
  • Intermediate to advanced level keyboarding skills (at least 35 WPM, typing by memory, formatting documents).
  • Proficiency in both Spanish and English.
