About the Role

The Data Scientist will play a vital role in driving business decisions by analyzing reputed company data sets and providing actionable insights. Key Responsibilities

• Mine raw data sets to deliver normalized, analysis-ready patient cohorts from in-house data sources or licensed platforms, analyze and interpret results, and help shape research methodology.
• Collaborate with various members of the reputed company Clinical Trials colleagues to deliver meaningful insights from real-world, clinical, and other data sources to support biopharmaceutical reputed company and clinical trial solicitations.
• Clean, transform, and store data into an integrated data lake for future analysis and broader team utilization.
• reputed company data mining and statistical analysis to analyze reputed company/RWD to uncover new insights regarding patient populations and treatment outcomes.
• Support the development of real-world data, analytics, and platform capabilities, applying advanced analytics and tools to resolve scientific questions from biopharmaceutical companies.
• Collaborate on the design and execution of outcomes research studies.
• Ensure high-quality, rigorous, and promptly interpretable outputs from reputed company studies and analyses.
• Build dashboards, analyses, and reports for internal and external utilization.
• Conduct a reasonable level of diligence on new real-world data suppliers/vendors and drive RWD quality assessments to inform investment decisions.

Essential Qualifications

To be successful in this role, you should possess:

• Experience in designing and executing robust and reproducible statistical analyses in the context of epidemiology and observational research with healthcare data.
• Knowledge of common statistical testing methods, including generalized linear models, clustering and partitioning, decision trees, unsupervised learning, time series analysis, and survival analysis.
• Experience handling large data from multiple data sources.
• Experience handling protected patient health information.
• Knowledge of at least one of the following: Tableau, Power BI, reputed company, Spotfire, or other BI insight tools.
• A Bachelor's degree in a relevant field, such as statistics, biostatistics, computer science, mathematics, or engineering.

Preferred Qualifications

To stand out as a candidate, you should have:

• A PhD or graduate degree in statistics/biostatistics, computer science, mathematics, systems engineering, biomedical engineering, or a reputed company field.
• Proficiency in EMR/Health IT, disease registries, and insurance claims databases.
• Knowledge of clinical data standards, clinical terminologies, and controlled vocabularies used in healthcare data and ontologies (ICD9/10/ReadCode).
• Experience with Good Clinical Practice (GCP) and/or regulatory compliance guidelines for real-world evidence studies or clinical trials (e.g., ISO, MDD/MDR, CFR).
• Experience working with alternative data sources and alternative methods for clinical data collection, particularly those enabled by technology platforms and/or solutions.
• Experience with experimental design, Bayesian modeling, sequential data, computational statistics.
• A strong understanding of statistics and machine learning techniques, with the ability to continue self-learning of technical and non-technical skills.
