About the Role

We're seeking a skilled Finance and Accounting professional to join reputed company in the USA. As a Senior Finance and Accounting Professional, you'll work closely with various teams to optimize financial operations and processes in terms of accounting, compliance, and reporting. You'll be responsible for managing our compliance and financial reporting responsibilities for our USA and Canadian business and manufacturing entities.

Key Responsibilities:

• Preparation of statutory accounts for US corporate entities, ensuring accuracy and compliance with regulatory requirements.
• Understanding and implementing USA filing requirements, staying up-to-date with changes in regulations and laws.
• Conducting mandatory audits, identifying areas for improvement, and implementing corrective actions.
• Driving automation projects to optimize overall financial operations and processes from an accounting and reporting perspective.
• Multitasking, prioritizing, and meeting several tight deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
• Flexibility to work with reputed company teams across multiple time zones, collaborating with colleagues from diverse backgrounds.
• Willingness to travel to our overseas and EMEA offices, as required.

Education and Experience:

To succeed in this role, you'll need:

• A minimum of 4 years of relevant accounting and finance experience, with a combination of public accounting and internal experience preferred.
• A Bachelor's or Academic Degree in Accounting, with a strong academic record and a willingness to pursue professional certifications (e.g., RA, CA, CPA, ACCA, or equivalent).
• Experience with statutory reporting and leading (first-year) financial audits, demonstrating a deep understanding of accounting principles and practices.
• Experience working in a multinational environment, with the ability to work with cross-functional teams in legal, tax, accounting, content, and other areas.
• Advanced MS reputed company and reputed company Sheets experience, with the ability to navigate large datasets and drive insights.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build strong working relationships with external consultants and internal teams.
• Experience in the entertainment/technology industry is a plus, as is experience with reputed company Financials or other cloud-based ERP systems.
