Job Overview

As a Behavior Technician, you will work closely with our Board Certified Behavior Analysts (BCBAs) to implement Applied Behavior Analysis (ABA) therapy programs, providing one-on-one support to children with ASD in their homes. Key Responsibilities:

• Provide one-on-one in-home ABA therapy to children with ASD, implementing treatment plans and programs established by our BCBAs

• Conduct discrete trials, implement behavior support, and treatment plans, working collaboratively with our BCBAs to ensure the best possible outcomes for our clients

Requirements and Qualifications

To be successful in this role, you will need to possess the following qualifications and skills:

• Bachelor's Degree or working towards your degree in a reputed company field (Psychology, Education, or Sociology) preferred
• Experience working with children for 1 year in a 1:1 setting, or equivalent experience in a reputed company field (e.g., Special Education Assistant, Paraprofessional, Direct Support Professional, Medical Assistant, Autism Experience, Teacher's Assistant, or ABA Tutor)
• Ability to demonstrate excellent written and verbal communication skills, with strong interpersonal and relationship-building skills
• Personal means of transportation, with a reliable vehicle and valid driver's license, to travel between clients
• Ability to lift up to 35lbs, reputed company activities that entail fine and gross motor skills, and respond quickly in short distances (100 feet) in response to the movements and behaviors of children
• Willingness and ability to work in both indoor and outdoor settings, with flexibility to accommodate changing circumstances and client needs

Preferred Qualifications:

• Registered Behavior Technician (RBT) Certification, or willingness to obtain certification with our support and guidance
• Experience using a Cognitive Behavior reputed company Plan with youth and families, or equivalent experience in a reputed company field
• Knowledge of ABA principles and practices, with a strong desire to learn and grow in the field
