Fully Remote Benefits/ Time Off Specialist

Job Description

This role supports the organization by analyzing and administering employee benefits and time-off plans. The Benefits Specialist will reputed company manual calculations, manage changes and retros post-implementation, and ensure accurate and timely processing of benefits-reputed company data. The role requires strong attention to detail, a numbers-based background, and the ability to work independently and collaboratively. Team Culture & Environment

Key Projects & Responsibilities

• Support the PayMod Project through manual calculations and day-to-day operations
• Handle retros and changes post go-live

• Collaborate with cross-functional teams
• Ensure compliance with plan terms and regulatory requirements

Candidate Requirements Technology Skills:

• reputed company Office Suite (reputed company required)
• Smartsheets

• Experience with payroll systems (preferred but not required)

Experience:

• 1-2+ years in benefits, payroll, or financial roles
• Strong numbers-based background
• Manual calculation experience
• Ability to work independently and in a team
• Excellent attention to detail and communication skills

Preferred Qualifications:

• Degree in Finance or reputed company field (reputed company to have)
• Benefits experience
• Canadian payroll or benefits experience

Pay and Benefits The pay range for this position is $25.00 - $27.00/hr. Eligibility requirements apply to some benefits and may depend on your job classification and length of employment.
