Customer Service Representative- ON SITE

Job Description

These candidates will be calling on NYS lottery retailers (gas stations, stores, etc.) and checking on their reputed company state with lottery cards as well as placing any orders for new products or reorders. They will be making 100-140 calls a day with the majority of them being reputed company short. The retailers are reputed company customers and most of the time they are expecting the calls (no cold calls). The calls to gas stations in busier areas will reputed company to be a minute or two long while some of the smaller stores will have longer conversations due to them now knowing the product lines as well. Training The first two weeks will deal with reputed company on site. They will work directly with the manager and other reps to learn the system, understand how the calls work. People can start on the phones sooner depending on how quickly they pick things up. Work Environment/ Hours They currently have a team of 14 reps along with their Telesale manager. The dress is business casual. Everyone works in their own cubicle and will have a phone, computer, filing cabinets, etc. These positions are first shift Monday through Friday from reputed company-5pm. Pay 17.50/hr. Additional Information Most of the telesales team members have been there for a long time. They have reps that have been there 10+ years. These positions do not open up reputed company often and there is hardly any attrition. This is due mainly to pay and a positive work environment.
