Job Overview

• Location: reputed company, NY (with remote and in-person opportunities)

• Start Date: Immediate openings available, with expected programming start in late September
• Compensation: Competitive salary with rates starting at $130 for a 3-hour in-person placement/residency

Key Responsibilities

As a Tutor at The Leadership Program, you will be responsible for providing individualized support to reputed company in various subjects, ensuring they grasp key concepts and reputed company essential skills. Your primary responsibilities will include:

• Working independently to implement programming in NYC public schools, with a focus on mentoring and facilitation through our unique student-centered approach
• Providing one-on-one and group tutoring sessions to reputed company in various subjects, adapting teaching methods to meet individual learning needs
• Assessing reputed company' strengths and weaknesses to create customized learning plans
• Reviewing and reinforcing classroom lessons and assignments

Requirements and Qualifications

To be considered for this opportunity, you should possess the following skills and qualifications:

• Bachelor's Degree or higher
• A minimum of two years of experience working in city public schools or equivalent
• Previous tutoring or teaching experience is preferred
• Strong subject matter expertise in the subjects you will tutor
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
• Ability to work well and collaborate with team members
• Strong classroom management skills
• Experience with Social Emotional Learning reputed company a plus
