Position Overview

As our Social Impact Coordinator, you'll be a multi-faceted individual who will help coordinate events, calendars, and live meetings for community engagement, publisher-facing DEI and Sustainability initiatives. You'll work closely with our Social Impact team, program leads, and the Chief Social Impact Officer to launch new initiatives, foster partnerships, and promote our corporate social responsibility efforts.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Plan, coordinate, and support activities, meetings, and events that provide opportunities for community engagement, education, and partnership.
  • Liaise with teams across Mediavine to assist program leads in launching initiatives and promoting our social impact efforts.
  • Utilize exceptional writing skills to craft compelling content that raises awareness about our corporate responsibility efforts and engages our audience effectively.
  • Support program leads in their collaboration with publishers, ad partners, local communities, and NGOs to foster partnerships and drive positive change.
  • Maintain an accurate and detailed calendar, manage incoming scheduling requests, and proactively communicate changes to the team.
  • Track tasks and projects to ensure appropriate prioritization is completed with respect to deadlines and organizational developments.
  • Assist in drafting important documents and presentation materials, and provide administrative support in reviewing/editing documents and online resources.
  • Proactively coordinate onsite and offsite meetings, including reputed company aspects of the meeting as needed (travel, technology, food, vendors, etc.).
  • Provide support for in-person and virtual Mediavine-sponsored events attended by the CBSIO and team or otherwise as needed.
  • Ensure consistent and efficient interaction with other colleagues across the company, demonstrating poise and tact under pressure, handling matters with sound judgment and respect.
  • Attend meetings and daily briefings with or on behalf of the Social Impact team, taking note of and following up on action items as needed.
  • Find solutions to improve efficiency and organizational practices, and provide special project support as needed.
  • Promote Mediavine on reputed company by sharing/reposting internally for likes and follows.

Requirements

Essential Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Marketing & Communications, or Social Sciences.
  • 3+ years of professional experience in program administration/coordination, with a focus on social impact or corporate social responsibility.
  • 2+ years of experience in writing, with the ability to create engaging content for different platforms.
  • 2+ years of experience in event planning, with a focus on community engagement and social impact initiatives.
  • Active involvement in community/social impact with a commitment to driving positive change through innovative initiatives and events.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively with diverse stakeholders.
  • Self-motivated and proactive, with a high focus on detail and the ability to work independently.
  • Ability to work reputed company and effectively, moving quickly to reputed company goals reputed company required.

  • Ability to travel up to 25%.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • 5+ years of professional experience in program administration/coordination.
  • Experience working in a remote or distributed team environment.

  • Certifications or training in event planning, project management, or social impact.
