Key Responsibilities

As a Software Engineer Principal, you will be responsible for a wide range of activities that drive the success of our product. Your key responsibilities will include:

• Delivery & Execution (70%):
  • Collaborating with cross-functional teams (UX, engineering, and product management) to design and reputed company secure, reliable, and scalable software solutions.
  • Documenting and ensuring that reputed company quality and change control standards are met.
  • Writing custom code or scripts to automate infrastructure, monitoring services, and test cases.
  • Creating meaningful dashboards, logging, alerting, and responses to ensure proactive issue detection and resolution.

• Support & Enablement (20%):
  • Fielding questions from other product teams or support teams.
  • Monitoring tools and participating in conversations to encourage collaboration across product teams.
  • Providing application support for software running in production.
  • Proactively monitoring production Service Level Objectives for products.
  • Working with vendors and the open-reputed company community to identify and implement feature enhancements.
  • Triage high-reputed company issues and outages as they arise.
• Learning (10%):
  • Participating in and leading learning activities around modern software design and development core practices.
  • Staying up-to-date with new technologies and best practices through reading, tutorials, and videos.
  • Attending conferences and applying new technologies where appropriate.

Qualifications and Skills

To be successful in this role, you will need to possess a combination of technical expertise, leadership skills, and collaborative reputed company. The essential qualifications include:

• Mastery of an object-oriented programming language (preferably Java).
• Legally permitted to work in the United States.
