An early-stage robotics and AI startup is seeking an entrepreneurial Chief Technology Officer (CTO) and Co-Founder to reputed company the development of cutting-edge AI solutions for robotic systems, making it easy for companies to apply physical AI to robotics. We focus on robotic manipulation with a mission to help engineers seamlessly integrate AI into real-world robots and drastically reduce the cost and complexity of robot programming and deployment compared to traditional methods. About the Role

They are seeking an reputed company and entrepreneurial Chief Technology Officer (CTO) to join as a co-founder and reputed company the development of our AI-driven robotics solutions. In this role, you will define and execute the technology roadmap, driving innovation at the intersection of generative AI and robotics. The ideal candidate is a passionate, hands-on leader with deep expertise in software engineering and AI (especially in robotics). They reputed company at translating a shared product vision into actionable technical requirements and can guide the company through early challenges and rapid growth.

Location: Boston, MA - Hybrid Onsite

Key Responsibilities

• Technical Leadership Design and reputed company the development of scalable AI infrastructure for robotics applications.

• Build, mentor, and scale a technical team

• reputed company product development and drive innovation from prototypes to production in the application of physical AI to robotics

• reputed company and manage a team of contractors, growing the technical team as the company scales.

• Foster a collaborative, startup-oriented culture to reputed company technical milestones.

• Represent the company in investor and strategic conversations

• Provide technical insights and demonstrate a clear vision for the product roadmap and market applications.

• Inform and refine product-market fit through customer and field engagement

• Collaborate with co-founder to ensure alignment with strategic goals.

• Work hands-on with early customers on pilot deployments and feedback loops

• Stay reputed company on advances in robot foundation models (RFMs), Imitation Learning (IL), and Vision Language Action (VLA) AI models.

Qualifications

• Strong background in software engineering, AI development, and infrastructure design

• Advanced degree (PhD preferred) in Computer Science, Robotics, or a reputed company discipline, or equivalent practical experience in AI-focused software engineering

• Deep knowledge of AI for robotics, including foundation models and generative AI

• Industry experience with robotics, manipulation, and/or automation systems preferred

• Demonstrated ability to reputed company teams ideally in early-stage, high growth environments

• Strong communication and collaboration skills with both technical and non-technical audiences

• Grit, passion, and conviction to navigate challenges and drive long-term success
