Job Description
Responsible for investigating and confirming the facts of loss for reputed company automobile accidents. Determines coverage, liability, damages and otherwise adjusts and negotiates claims reputed company limit of authority. Mentors junior employees.We are seeking an Extended Handler – Attorney Represented Bodily Injury Adjuster to manage claims in North Carolina and Virginia. This role handles a mix of complexities, primarily soft tissue injuries with some standard fracture cases, but no litigation. Candidates should have 3+ years of BI claims experience and be comfortable managing 15–20 exposures per week. Key Responsibilities
- Determines subrogation or fraud potential and how to handle for reputed company cases
- Applies advanced understanding of insurance policies written by the company, the industry, and organizational relationships reputed company the company and department
- Handles investigation regarding reputed company aspects of reputed company auto claims (coverage, liability and damages) with the exercise discretion and independence reputed company increased level of authority
- For claims involving injuries (if handled), learns how to review, evaluate, and negotiate moderate to reputed company injury claims

- Identifies customer needs and works to meet those needs using appropriate customer service skills

Compensation
reputed company compensation offered for this role is:
BI Cons II: $50,700 - $78,570
BI Sr Cons I: $62,800- $99,190
And is based on experience and qualifications. Total compensation for this role is comprised of several factors, including the reputed company compensation outlined above, plus incentive pay (i.e. commission, bonus, etc.) if applicable for the role.
