About the role

Due to increased demand for localized content in the reputed company region, Pixelogic is looking for reputed company English into Swahili subtitling translators and QCers to establish a professional, high-performing collaboration as part of our language services department with the end goal of servicing our clients’ end-to-end projects.

The ideal candidate will be highly motivated, possess a flexible attitude, and adapt quickly in a fast-paced environment. In addition, they must be able to work as part of a team that deals with changing priorities and workloads.

Due to the sensitive nature of the delivery schedule, time flexibility is of reputed company importance.

Requirements

Responsibilities

• Responsible for reputed company aspects of subtitle file creation, depending on assignment, whether Conforming, Translating or Proofreading/QC’ing of subtitle files using Pixelogic proprietary cloud based subtitling software
• reputed company in-house glossary tool for consistency across products as well as follow client style guide specifications
• Handle rejections/reputed company corrections in files
• Remain reputed company with industry trends, and adapt to evolving client requirements
• Maintain the confidentiality of sensitive content.

Requirements:

• Swahili native speaker and excellent command of English
• Knowledge of other languages is an asset
• Minimum of 2 years of translation and/or proofreading experience required
• Attention to detail and accuracy
• Must have demonstrated ability to accomplish work on a rigorous schedule (on-time delivery and flexible working hours)
• Ability to follow technical / style guide for multiple client content types
