Manager, Engineering

We are seeking a highly motivated Software Engineering Manager to lead technical initiatives with existing Platforms. In this role, you will collaborate closely with cross-functional teams, lead talented engineers, and ensure the successful execution of strategic projects aligned with organizational goals. • Provide transparent updates on risks, milestones, and blockers to stakeholders and leadership.

• Stay abreast of industry trends and recommend appropriate technical direction.

• Build and maintain a high-performing team through coaching, performance management, and professional development.

• Facilitate onboarding, goal setting, and ongoing team development initiatives.

• Collaborate with Finance, HR, and IT to support team operations.

• Conduct regular performance reviews and provide actionable feedback.

• Foster a collaborative, inclusive, and results-driven team culture.

• Drive continuous improvement and advocate for innovation and change.

SKILLS:

• Strong technical foundation and proficiency in one or more programming languages and technologies used within your team.

• Proven ability to manage technical projects and deliver results under tight deadlines.

• Strategic thinker with the ability to navigate ambiguity and drive results.

• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.

• High emotional intelligence, with a proven ability to coach and inspire team members.

• Effective delegation and coordination skills.

• Strong time management and organizational skills.

• Demonstrated ability to foster trust, collaboration, and accountability within teams.

• Experience leading organizational or cultural change is a plus.

EXPERIENCE:

• 7+ years in software development, with demonstrated project success.

• 3+ years in a technical leadership role such as Team Lead or Engineering Manager.

• Experience with modern cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, GCP), CI/CD pipelines, and agile methodologies.

• Prior work in a cross-functional environment involving Finance, Security, and Product teams.

The base salary range for this position in is $120K-$165K/yr; however, base pay offered may vary depending on location, job-related knowledge, skills, and experience. A discretionary incentive program may be provided as part of the compensation package, in addition to a full range of medical and other benefits, dependent on full-time employment status.
