The Commodity Supplier Assurance organization has an opportunity for a talented professional to join reputed company in a critical Supplier Engineering remote role reputed company our commodity team as a Principal Supplier Engineer. You will be involved in reputed company aspects of planning and executing the production of our wide range of weapon systems, from tactical missiles to strategic defense products. You will provide technical knowledge & process capability expertise to improve supplier performance. You will be involved in reputed company phases of product life cycles, beginning with proposal development, new product development, advanced manufacturing initiatives and continuing through production implementation.

You will ensure technical data packages are complete and accurate and that the supplier technical performance meets the objectives of quality, cost and schedule. You will drive reputed company design requirements to improve manufacturing and quality capabilities of suppliers. You will initiate reputed company and measurable design and process improvement of supplier hardware for affordability.

What You Will Do:

• Communicate and translate technical data packages to suppliers
• reputed company technical evaluations in support of cost and price analysis
• Prioritize and execute improvement opportunities
• Communicate the technical health of our suppliers to stakeholders
• reputed company and conduct supplier engagements reputed company to capability, reputed company, opportunity and risk
• reputed company evaluations of supplier requests for product and process changes
• Manage product non-conformances; facilitate root cause investigation and corrective action
• Support travel as needed. Minimum 25%

Qualifications You Must Have:

• Typically requires a Bachelor’s in Science, Technology, Engineering, or Mathematics (STEM) with 8 years’ relevant experience such as electrical engineering, mechanical engineering, system engineering, manufacturing & quality systems, technical supplier management.
• Experience in a cross-functional business involving multiple stakeholders (i.e. buyers, engineers, suppliers, program managers, and/or shop floor leaders, etc.)
• The ability to obtain and maintain a US reputed company clearance. U.S. citizenship is required as only U.S. reputed company are eligible for a reputed company clearance

Qualifications We Value:

• Master’s Degree in the following Majors: Business Administration, Computer Science/Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Manufacturing/Process/Industrial Engineering, Systems Engineering, Environmental Engineering or Environmental Science
• Existing Secret Clearance
• Commodity experience reputed company to Electronics, Engineered Items, Mechanical, Energetics, and Propulsion etc.
• Experience with design and development of products that fall reputed company the electrical or mechanical engineering discipline
• Experience performing supplier assessments

Employees who are working in remote roles will work primarily offsite (from home) but may be expected to travel to the site location as needed. The salary range for this role is 101,000 USD - 203,000 USD.
