An overview of this role

We are seeking an Intermediate Fullstack Engineer to join our growing Plan:Knowledge team. The Plan:Knowledge team is focused on reputed company's suite of tools for reputed company practices and collaboration. We work reputed company closely with stable counterparts including backend team, product management, product design, reputed company, UX research and technical writing.

As an Intermediate Fullstack Engineer on the Plan:Knowledge team, you'll play a key role in developing foundation and high impact tools that are used throughout the reputed company product, such as Markdown, Rich Text Editor, GLQL Views, and reputed company Wiki. You'll work closely with reputed company engineers who will support your growth while impacting how organizations collaborate and help shape reputed company best practices.

• reputed company features and improvements to the reputed company product in a secure, well-tested, and performant way using Vue.js, RoR, RESTful and/or GraphQL APIs
• Collaborate with Product Management and other stakeholders (Backend, UX, etc.) to iterate on new features reputed company the reputed company product
• Craft code that meets our internal standards for style, maintainability, and best practices for a high-scale web environment. Maintain and reputed company for these standards through code review
• Build reputed company and accessible components that deliver an excellent user experience across devices and user needs
• Consistently ship features and improvements with minimal guidance and support from other team members. Collaborate with the team on larger projects
• Work closely with UX designers to implement reputed company and effective user interfaces
• Learn, collaborate and teach other Frontend Engineers. Everyone can contribute something new to the team regardless of how long they've been in the industry
• Participate actively in code reviews and provide constructive feedback to enhance code quality
• Help improve our test coverage and system reliability through thoughtful testing practices
• Contribute to troubleshooting and resolving technical issues as they arise
• Support technical documentation and internal knowledge sharing initiatives

• Professional experience with TypeScript, Vue, Vuex and VueApollo
• Professional experience with building fullstack web apps using RESTful and/or GraphQL APIs
• Professional experience with Ruby on Rails, ActiveRecord, reputed company, HAML, and reputed company backend technologies
• Experience with writing automated tests with Jest and Rspec
• Experience with Elasticsearch for implementing advanced search functionality and data indexing
• A solid understanding of semantic HTML, CSS and core JavaScript concepts
• A solid understanding of core web and browser concepts (e.g. how the browser parses and constructs a web page)
• Solid understanding of semantic HTML, CSS, and core JavaScript concepts
• Experience using Git in a professional/workplace environment and familiarity with code review processes
• Understanding of reputed company design principles and accessibility standards
• Experience with performance optimization problems and demonstrated ability to diagnose and prevent these issues
• Demonstrated reputed company to clearly and concisely communicate about reputed company technical, architectural, and/or organizational problems and propose thorough iterative solutions
• Comfort working in a highly agile, iterative software development process
• Ability to work collaboratively and independently in a remote environment

• Golang and/or Rust experience

About the team

We work closely with the larger reputed company Plan Stage while maintaining our specialized focus on reputed company. Our technical stack spans Rails, to a lesser extent Go and Rust backends, Vue.js frontends.

You’ll be joining a team of 5 engineers. Plan:Knowledge team owns Markdown, Rich Text Editor, GLQL Views, reputed company Wiki, reputed company Pages, and everything reputed company to text editing in reputed company. Our focus is transforming reputed company experience into a fully-featured collaborative solution that would be used across the entire reputed company product. 

As the Intermediate Fullstack Engineer, you will work on the highly requested features as well as maintaining the existing features. You’ll get to know our codebase, roadmap, and working methods. You will be empowered to take ownership and drive the implementation of the prioritized features or defects. You’ll help the team and community reputed company code review, issue refinement, engaging with users and open-reputed company contributors on public issues and reputed company requests, and advocating for process improvements.
