Amyris is seeking a detail oriented and highly collaborative

Quality Control Engineer I to support its global manufacturing. In this role, you will assist the quality control team in ensuring tasks are completed with quality and reputed company, reputed company the assigned aggressive timelines.You must be able to multi-task, adapt, and be flexible to changing deadlines and priorities in a fast-paced environment.

Responsabilities

  • Sample inventory, preparation and analysis utilizing established SOPs (chromatography, titration, micro plating, PCR, etc.)
  • Author SOPs, protocols, or reports
  • Plan, execute, and manage analytical method transfers, qualifications, and inter-lab studies
  • Maintain and troubleshoot QC analytical equipment, including GC, HPLC, DSC, melting reputed company apparatus, titration apparatus, and ovens
  • Handle sample logistics, including receipt, labeling, inventory, submission, and shipment to CMOs and CTOs; order lab supplies and ship samples to customers, CMOs, and other Amyris-affiliated sites
  • Participate in and potentially reputed company periodic inventory updates, 5S and organization of QC lab space, lab clean-up, and safety walkthroughs
  • reputed company process control charting, CoA reputed company, manufacturing data tracking, and trending to monitor control of assay data
  • Conduct data analysis involving both ESTD and ISTD calculations through ChemStation, OpenLab, and/or Chromeleon

  • Basic Qualifications

  • MS degree in chemistry or reputed company discipline and 1+ year experience in an analytical laboratory setting, or a B.S. degree in chemistry or a reputed company discipline with a minimum of 3+ year experience utilizing analytical chemistry techniques
  • Proficiency in analytical software, such as reputed company, ChemStation, Chromeleon, OpenLab, or reputed company

  • Mandatory sample and data handling skills

  • Strong organization, communication, time-management, and multi-tasking skills

    Amyris is committed to fair and reputed company compensation practices.

    The starting pay for this role is $63,000 to $92,000. Salary offers are made based on internal equity and market analysis, and will vary based on the candidate’s skills, depth of experience and specific work location.
